RELATIONSHIP REPAIR FOR TWO

For two people who still want the relationship — and are willing to work for it.

A structured 15-session coaching process that combines individual work with conversations together, helping you understand what keeps happening, communicate differently, and begin repairing the relationship with honesty, responsibility and care.

For couples and other important two-person relationships, including
parents and adult children.

WHEN YOU’VE TRIED TO FIX IT

You can love someone deeply and still have no idea how to stop hurting each other.

Maybe you’ve talked about the same issue more times than you can count.

Maybe you’ve tried counselling, therapy, books, podcasts, or promised each other that things would be different.

And yet, when the same difficult moment comes around, you somehow end up back in the same place.

Sometimes people are told they need to communicate better.

But knowing you should communicate differently and knowing how to do it when emotions are high are two very different things.

This is where the work begins.

GUIDED SUPPORT BETWEEN SESSIONS

You won’t have to wonder what to talk about or what comes next.

Relationship Repair for Two is a guided coaching program with a clear progression. Each session builds on the work that came before it, so we are not simply talking about whatever happened that week and hoping something changes.

We’ll use The Upstream Method™ to understand what is happening underneath the patterns between you, and practical communication work to help you begin responding differently when those patterns show up.

You’ll also have a guided workbook to support the work between sessions, giving you a place to reflect, practice and keep building on what you are learning.

There is a path through this work. You do not have to figure it out on your own.

HOW THE 15 SESSIONS WORK

Some of the most important relationship work happens apart — before you come back together.

The program moves between private sessions with each person and sessions together.

In your private sessions, each of you has space to understand your own experience, reactions, patterns and responsibility without having to manage the other person’s response in the room.

Then we bring that work back into sessions together, where you can practice communicating differently, work through difficult moments with support, and begin changing what happens between you.

We repeat that rhythm throughout the 15 sessions, allowing the individual work and the relationship work to build on one another.

A PRACTICAL WAY TO COMMUNICATE DIFFERENTLY

Knowing what you want to say is one thing. Knowing how to say it when the relationship is under strain is another.

When a conversation matters, it can be surprisingly hard to stay connected to what you actually want to communicate

Old reactions can take over. One person may push harder while the other pulls away. The conversation becomes about defending, explaining or protecting instead of understanding one another.

That is why I teach a practical communication process inside this program.

Pause. Pivot. Communicate. Connect.

It gives you a way to slow the moment down, take responsibility for what is yours, say what needs to be said more honestly, and create a better chance of staying connected while you work through something difficult.

The goal is not perfect communication. It is knowing what to do when a conversation starts going off track.

THE INDIVIDUAL WORK

Repair begins with getting honest about what is happening inside each person.

Before two people can change what happens between them, each person needs space to understand what is happening inside them.

That is why this program includes individual sessions. In those sessions, each person has room to slow down, reflect, and look honestly at their own reactions, patterns, needs, beliefs, choices and responsibility.

This is where The Upstream Method™ becomes part of the work. We do not stay only at the level of behaviour or conflict. We look beneath the reaction so each person can better understand what is shaping the way they respond.

Real repair becomes possible when each person is willing to look within, not just at the other person.

This process is supportive, but it is also honest. The goal is not to decide who is right or wrong. The goal is to help each person see themselves more clearly, take responsibility for their part, and come back to the relationship with more awareness, steadiness and care.

GUIDED WORKBOOK INCLUDED

A place to carry the work beyond our sessions.

Your Relationship Repair for Two workbook will guide your reflection, practice and preparation throughout the program — so each session can build on the one before it.

A SHARED COMMITMENT

This work asks something meaningful of both of you.

You do not have to arrive with everything figured out. You do not even have to know exactly what the relationship will look like on the other side of this work.

But you do both need to be willing to genuinely participate.

That means being willing to look at your own part in what has been happening, hear things that may be difficult to hear, practice something different, and give the relationship an honest chance.

This program is not designed for one person to do all the work while the other watches, or for someone who has already decided they are leaving and is participating only to satisfy the other person.

What matters is that both of you are choosing to show up honestly and see what becomes possible when you each do your part.

WHAT YOU’RE WORKING TOWARD

Not a perfect relationship. A relationship that knows how to repair.

The goal of this work is not to make difficult moments disappear. It is to help the two of you handle them differently.

Over the course of the program, you’ll work toward having more honest conversations, understanding each other more clearly, taking responsibility without turning each other into the problem, and changing the patterns that keep pulling you apart.

You’ll also practice what to do after something goes wrong — because strong relationships are not built by never hurting or disappointing one another. They are built by knowing how to come back, repair, and keep choosing the relationship with greater care.

The aim is a relationship with more understanding, more honesty, and a stronger ability to find your way back to one another.
